Meet the 1st Monday of each month at Ainad Shrine
First and foremost, all of our members are "Ainad Shriners"; a brotherhood of men who are dedicated
to fun and fellowship, but who also have a serious purpose. Shriners are distinguished by an enjoyment
of life and a commitment to philanthropy.
As the largest Pipe and Drum band in Southern Illinois, we perform for you, the community, and for
those who appreciate our cause. How we do this is by participating in mostly local events e.g.
parades, dances, dinners, sporting events and various other social occasions. Through our music,
we show dedication, support, pride and representation for what has been called one of the World's Greatest Philanthropy.
The Ainad Highlanders would like to thank you for visiting our web site and also encourage you to become a
supporter for the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Additionally, we humbly ask that you make the Ainad Highlanders Pipe and
Drum Unit part of your next special event.
Shriners... Having Fun & Helping Kids - All We Need is You!
Our ranks are open to any Shriner in good standing interested in volunteering time to practice and to learn
the bagpipes, drums or any other way of contributing to our unit.
